The North Baltimore Lady Tigers (8 - 15) travelled to Ottawa-Glandorf Tuesday evening for the opening round of the OHSAA Tournament, to play Miller City (3 - 19).
In what was mostly a close game throughout, the young NB squad battled against big odds, as Miller City had much stronger fan support, Putnam County League - style refs (not many calls going NB's way) and just plain bad luck, as the Wild Cats "banked" several treys in the 4th quarter, pulling out the 44 - 43 win, to advance in the tournament.
Kiah Powell led NB scoring with 14, Rachel Peters hit for 13 points, Olivia Frost had 8, Morgan Schloemp and Lacey Trumbull each scored 3 points and Lindsay Davis added two points.
