HENRY TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES REGULAR MEETING

May 29, 2012

The regular meeting of the Henry Township Trustees was called to order by Chairman Stewart with the following members responding to roll call: Present: Baltz, Stewart, Wymer. Absent: None.

Guests present were: none in attendance

It was moved by Baltz seconded by Stewart to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of May 14, 2012 as presented. Roll call: Ayes: Baltz, Stewart, Wymer. Nays: None.

Motion carried.

It was moved by Wymer seconded by Baltz that bills be approved for payment and checks issued for expenses totaling $8261.78.

Roll call: Ayes: Baltz, Stewart, Wymer. Nays: None. Motion Carried.

Old Business

Road Brush for Bobcat has been installed.

It was confirmed that the township owned paver is indeed beyond reasonable repair.

Estimate for alternative road repair method was discussed.

New Business

J. Baltz expressed concern over the road cut by the county on Oil Center Road. It has been determined that the county will repair.

J. Stewart also brought up the road cut on Oil Center and confirmed that it is the county’s responsibility.

J. Stewart informed the group that the tar Truck is done and ready to be picked up.

J. Stewart and S. Baltz both brought up the issue regarding the zoning at the corner of S.R. 18 and Potter Road. This issue is on the 6/5/2012 Planning Commission meeting agenda and S. Baltz will attend.

S. Baltz gave payments for 2 road boring permits to the Fiscal Officer.

It was moved by Stewart and seconded by Wymer that the following changes be made to the following appropriation accounts:

$13000 from 1000-930-930 split to 1000-100-230 $3000 and 1000-910-910 $10000.

Return $10000 advance from 2/15/2011 to the General Fund from Road District Fund.

Transfer $10000 from 1000-910-910 to 2021-931-000.

It was moved by Wymer and seconded by Baltz to make payment upon receipt of invoice to Henry Bergman Inc. and Gerken Paving for work completed.

It was decided road repairs would take place in the following order:

1. Quarry Road from Mitchell to Hough

2. Needles Road from Insley to Rudolph

3. Wingston Road from Quarry to Needles

There being no further action to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned upon motion.
