NB Girl's make SouthWood All Stars

The Southwood 12U Girls' All Star Game was held in Bloomdale on Sunday, July 8th. North Baltimore was well represented with three players from each of NB's two 12U girls' teams being selected to play in this year's All Star game.

The girls were selected by votes from their teammates. Haylee Hopple, Paige Hyatt and Kiley Brooker were selected from one of the two NB teams, and Katelyn Weinandy, Makayla Light and Alivia Light were selected from the other NB team.

The two coaches that were selected to coach the two Southwood 12U girls' All Star teams were from NB's two 12U teams, because both teams have the best over-all records this year, out of the nine Southwood 12U girls' teams. Both NB teams were 11 - 1.

All Star Team #1 was coached by NB Head Coach Dan Hopple, and All Star Team #2 was coached by NB Assistant Coach Matt Weinandy (Head Coach Sean McNett could not make it).

Dan Hopple's team was made up of 13 players from North Baltimore #1, Bloomdale, Portage, Bradner.

Matt Weinandy's team was made up of 14 players from North Baltimore #2, Risingsun, Wayne, Haskins & Weston.

The final score was 15 to 7 with Dan Hopple's All Star team winning the game.

The Southwood 12U Girls' Tournaments will be held at Bloomdale this year, and begins on Monday, July 16th.
