HENRY TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES REGULAR MEETING

June 25, 2012

The regular meeting of the Henry Township Trustees was called to order by Chairman Stewart with the following members responding to roll call: Present: Baltz, Stewart, Wymer. Absent: None.

Guests Present were: Jeff Miklovic – NB Express , Ken Uhlenhake, James Dick, Tony Swartz

It was moved by Wymer seconded by Baltz to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of June 11, 2012 as presented. Roll call: Ayes: Baltz, Stewart, Wymer. Nays: None.

Motion carried.

It was moved by Baltz seconded by Wymer that bills be approved for payment and checks issued for expenses totaling: $ 20,983.62

Roll call: Ayes: Baltz, Stewart, Wymer. Nays: None. Motion Carried.

Old Business

Oil Center road cut repair performed by the county is determined to be unacceptable – county will address – Stewart will contact.

Contacted Railroad about blocking crossings.

Haul route for SR 18 construction has been designated as Hough Rd., Belmore Rd. Deweyville Rd., Mitchel Rd. north and south.

Road Repair Update:

Quarry – Township crew will be completing this project

Needles – going to bid - will be opened on 7/9/2012 regular meeting

Wingston – complete

New Business

Haul Road status: Hough Rd has been seriously damaged.

Contact was made with RD Jones Representative about concern over damage to roads and speed of construction traffic.

Details of current fire contract were discussed.

S. Baltz reported that there have been inquiries about pond and pool permits.

Davis is meeting with representative of Robert K. Miller Insurance Agency about renewal information.

It was moved by Wymer seconded by Baltz to enter executive session for the discussion of personnel items – No action taken.

There being no further action to come before the Board the meeting was adjourned upon motion.
