Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will celebrate the Third Sunday in Lent on March 23, with worship beginning at 10:15 am. Rev. Susan Kronbach will continue our Lenten sermon series “Journeys of Faith” with this invitation to look at the movement from longing to satisfaction through the stories found in the Exodus 17 and John 4. Sunday School for youth and adults is held at 9:15 am; Sunday School for children is held during worship (after the Children’s Moments) and concludes with the end of worship at 11:15 am. Please plan to join us!
We will also be observing “One Great Hour Of Sharing” – one of the Six Special Sundays of the United Methodist Church. A special offering will be received to help fund the ministries of UMCOR – the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
Please plan to join us for Lenten Lunch on Wednesday, March 26 at St. James UMC at noon. The Lenten Lunch series is sponsored by the North Baltimore Area Cooperative Ministry all through the season of Lent. The meal is free – an offering is received to contribute to our local ministry efforts.
Other activities at the church this week include Youth Fellowship, Sunday, 3/23 at 6:30 pm; Soup Kitchen Tuesday, 3/25 at 4:30 pm; and choir practice each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm.

The Bairdstown United Methodist Church will be celebrating the Third Sunday in Lent on March 23, with worship beginning at 9:15 am. This Sunday, Rev. Susan Kronbach will preach “Journeys of Faith: From Longing to Satisfaction” from Exodus 17 and John 4. Sunday School class is held immediately following worship.
