You are invited to attend a public meeting on transportation needs and issues in Wood County and across the TMACOG region -Thursday (3/20) - IN North Baltimore
I'm thinking we ought to have a lot to talk about OR is all the chatter on Facebook just us whining?
TMACOG is working with the community to create the “On the Move: 2015-2045 Transportation Plan” for Wood, Lucas, and southern Monroe Counties, and are requesting your input. This plan will guide investment of millions of dollars over the next 30 years.
Your concerns are important – whether about personal transportation (walking, bicycling, driving, public transportation, passenger rail, or air), or moving freight (by truck, rail, water, or air), or how transportation is affecting our quality of life and economy.
In Wood County, public meetings are slated
for the following dates. We especially encourage you to come to the kickoff meeting on February 24 (flier attached), organized and sponsored by BGSU masters students:
Thursday, March 20
Doors open 6:30 p.m.
North Baltimore Public Library - 230 N. Main St., North Baltimore
Monday, Mar. 24
Doors open 6 p.m.
101 E. Indiana, Perrysburg
Come early to enjoy light refreshments and to view informational displays.
In addition to these meetings (and others scheduled in Lucas County), you can complete a survey.
One is posted now on www.tmacog.org – just look for the On the Move logo.
PLEASE - Go to this site and fill out the on-line survey and tell them about our blocked crossings! I'm not sure that TMACOG checks Facebook and sees the issues that some of us point out regularly!
