Former CSP Manager & family say THANKS to NB
Posting Date: 03/27/2014

Mike Bambarger was Manager of Operations at the Continental Structural Plastics plant (Budd Co.) on Poe Road for a little over one year, here in North Baltimore, Ohio. Mike is no longer with CSP (no other info given). They have returned to their home in Conneaut, Ohio.

Mike Bambarger writes:

I first want to convey that my family and I leave North Baltimore with heavy hearts, the community as a whole has been a great experience that we will cherish forever. We have formed many life long relationships!

To the employees at CSP:

Over the last year and a half, we planted the seeds for success, please continue to strive for excellence, your future depends on such. No one person can make or break a plant, you all have what it takes to be the best of the best. Harvest the rewards of your hard work! I cannot begin to express the pride I have for you all, not just as employees, but more so as friends.

To the school system:

We will always be indebted to you for the care and love you have shown our girls. Your care of assuring our daughters were accepted from day one is truly appreciated and amazing in this day. We knew that NB was the school system for us when Ms. North took the time

to give us a tour and Dr. Bob wanted to discuss arts before athletics. To all the staff that helped our girls catch up, Thank You! The pride the school brings to the community is second to none.

To the North Baltimore community:

Be proud, your community shows much love and care towards each other and its youth. North Baltimore is a true testament to how a community can overcome obstacles using compassion and care. Do not shy away from your heritage, embrace it even more than you do today.

Items such as Good Old Summertime Days, Friday night football games, including a great band, Christmas at the library, etc...all bring a community together during the good and bad times. My family leaves part of our soul in your community. We came with high hopes, our intent was to show that there is much more to leading business than just jobs, I hope we have shown such through our actions.

We leave for the next journey in life, but do not be surprised if you see us walking the downtown enjoying some fries, playing in the local golf outing or stopping by to watch the Mighty Tigers!

I close with saying, God Bless to a community that truly made our short stay a very positive life experience.

Mike Bambarger

Mike was a blessing to our plant, whether you liked him or not, he was always honest with us, if only others in the management group had such. Above that what he did for the community most likely has never been done. I agree with Joyce, what an inspiring man.

Mike was hard on us, but gave much effort and was always working to better the plant. Had been a long time since there was someone that cared as much as he did. He will be greatly missed.

I couldn't even begin to say enough good about Mike and his family. I have never met people with such huge hearts and willing to give out to others as much as them. Lets all pray this family ends up in NB again- sooner than later. They sure fit perfect with our community.

In my 30 years at the plant, there has never been a manager that cared or was as honest as Mike. Some didn't care for him, but that is because he challenged us to be better. Mike will be very much missed. I did not get to meet his family but what they did in the community was remarkable, I too would like to see them stay in North Baltimore.

Mike is missed, his leadership is missed.

If anyone finds out why, the real reason, not gossip, please tell. What Mike and his family did while here will be greatly missed. I don't think anyone from that plant has ever done as much as this man in his short time here. in the many years this plant has been here, it never was involved with the community, now they had someone and this happens? Seems to confirm that plant is still the same, just the person running it was different.
