Can you get there from here?

Can you get there from here?

The Sewer Separation Project has moved into the "East Alley" off of Broadway, west of the US Post Office here in Downtown North Baltimore, Ohio.

Be aware of construction traffic and confused people trying to figure out where to go and what to do...

Helm's and Sons the contractor is laying the new sanitary sewer main to the south from East Broadway.

The Post Office Drop-Box has been moved across the street, up to the north, in that same alley. This will allow driver side drop-off for northbound vehicles. It would be good if folks avoid coming south out of that alley onto East Broadway.

In addition, there will be construction traffic in and out of the east-west alley, east of Main Street to North Tarr. These guys are just trying to get the job done, so PLEASE - give them plenty of room and don't get your Grundy's in a bundle, if you have to wait.

Estimate (unofficial) for the length of time to complete this part of the project... give it a week and we'll see where we stand!

Coming next - the West Alley! (Oh, and Mitchell Road sewer work is hoped to be completed by the end of next week (4/11). Along with the Northeast side of town getting that sewer main completed AND with laterals being installed all over the place (on the north side) AND Asplundh in down for AEP Power Line Trimming - Whew!!! This has got to end sometime!!! OR, maybe not - this is progress(?)!

The sewer main will be laid to the south towards the rails.
