The North Baltimore Tiger Track team opened their competitive season Tuesday April 1, at Patrick Henry High School. Both the Boy's and Girl's teams finished third.

First place finishers for the Lady Tigers were:

- the girls 4 by 800 meter relay team of Leslie Busch, Brittany Daughenbaugh, Lacey Trumbull, and Raegan Fleckner,

- Megan Ernsberger in the 100 high hurdles,

- Lacey Trumbull in the 1600 meter run,

- Catlin Cook in the long jump.

First place finishers for the boys were:

- Caleb Swope in the 800 meter run

- AJ Hotaling in the

3200 meter run

Finishing in second place were: Mariah Leonard (1600 meter run), Lindsay Davis (200 meter dash), and Brittany Daughenbaugh (3200 meter run).

Third place finishers included Catlin Cook (100 meter dash), Jacob Dick (shot put and discus), the girls 4 by 100 meter relay team of Megan Ernsberger, Courtney Smith, Catlin Cook and Kenzie Carles, and the boys 4 by 100 meter relay team of Taylor Bishop, Jacob Dick, Lane Bishop, and Gabe De Los Reyes.

Tigers finishing in fourth place were Leslie Busch (1600), Raegan Fleckner (400 meter dash), Beth Busch (shot put), Kailey McCartney (Disc), Christian Richmond (100 & 200 meter dash), AJ Hotaling (1600 meter run), Tyler Stimmel (400 meter dash), Cody Gerdeman (300 meter low hurdles), and Taylor Bishop (long jump).

Fifth place efforts were recorded by Courtney Smith (300 low hurdles), Mariah Leonard (long jump), Kailey McCartney (shot put), Cody Gerdeman (100 high hurdles), and Gab De Los Reyes (long jump).

The track team will be back in action when they travel to Ayersvilles on Tuesday April 8th.
