Friends of the NB Library Spring Book Sale
Posting Date: 04/13/2014

The Friends of the North Baltimore Public Library is preparing for their Spring Book Sale.

The sale will begin for members only on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 5-7 pm.

The sale opens to the community on Thursday, May 1; Friday, May 2; and Saturday, May 3rd.

The sale opens at 10 am and ends on Thursday at 7 pm, Friday, at 6 pm and on Saturday at 4 pm.

A bag sale will take place on Saturday, at noon, until the end of the sale.

Proceeds from the two book sales conducted by the Friends of the North Baltimore Public Library annually are used to fund special projects at the library.

Spring clean YOUR books - donate to the sale

The paperback books, hard cover books, children’s books and other materials sold at the sale are from donated materials from the community, as well as materials discarded by the library. We encourage community members to bring items to donate to the library prior to the sale. It is important that all materials be clean and in good condition.

This is a great chance to spring clean your home and help the public library at the same time. Items can be brought to the library at any time, but we encourage everyone to help us with the project now. Friends of the Library memberships can be purchased at the library circulation desk. A small gift is included with your membership.

Members of the Friends of the NB Public Library are encouraged to sign up to assist with the sale. We need volunteers to help sort and set up the book sale on Wednesday, April 30. We also need volunteers to work during the sale to sell the books and straighten materials. A sign-up sheet is at the main circulation desk. Please help with our project!
