Posting Date: 04/22/2014
On Friday, May 9, Suzi Parron, author of “Barn Quilts and the American Quilt Trail Movement” will be at the Wood County Historical Museum for a brown-bag lunch, program, and book signing. Lunch starts at noon with Suzi’s program starting at 12:30 and the book signing following.
The event is free, but RSVPs are appreciated by calling 419-352-0967. The Museum will also be open for self-guided tours of the new 4-H exhibit and the new Quilt exhibit in the new gallery space.
Sticking with this quilt theme, we are proud to be one stop on the Wood County 4-H Quilt Square Trail. Brochures are available at the Museum and the 4-H Office to tour the twenty quilt squares painted on barns and buildings around the County.
The Wood County Historical Museum is located at 13660 County Home Road in Bowling Green.
