April, 2014, Bowling Green -- ReadyCare, the afterhours clinic for non-emergent healthcare needs will relocate to Falcon Health Center at 838 E. Wooster Street in Bowling Green, effective Monday, May 12, 2014. ReadyCare has been located at 1180 North Main Street since April 2007.
ReadyCare and Falcon Health Center are both operated by Wood Health Company, an affiliate of Wood County Hospital. ReadyCare is available to community members as well as the Bowling Green State University community.
ReadyCare at Falcon Health Center will provide non-emergent primary care services for conditions such as strep throat, earache or ear pain, sinus pain, skin infections, and suture removal. Radiology, laboratory and pharmacy services will also be available. Healthcare providers will include primary care physicians and nurse practitioners. Patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis.
The new hours will be Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Laboratory and radiology services will be available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours will be expanded later this year. Pharmacy services will be available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
ReadyCare is available for all members of the general community, as well as the Bowling Green State University students, faculty, and staff. The service is great for individuals requiring healthcare services who don’t have a primary care physician, as well as those who require same day services, but are unable to be seen by their own physician.
ReadyCare’s last day at the 1180 North Main Street location is Sunday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will open at Falcon Health Center on Monday, May 12 at 8 a.m.
