ODOT District Two Construction Update - April 25

Lucas/Wood Counties

1. Interstate 75/475: Interchange Upgrade *UPDATE*
Lucas County (281-10):
Through June 2014, on Upton Avenue, between Georgia Avenue and Central Avenue and Central Avenue, between Upton Avenue and Jackman Road are reduced to one lane for finish work.

INTERSTATE RESTRICTIONS


Effective Thursday, April 24 from 7pm through Friday, April 25 at 7am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475, between Monroe Street and I-75 for pavement marking. Additionally, at this time, lane restrictions are also possible on I-75, from Detroit Avenue to Central Avenue, for pavement marking.

Project complete: June. All work is weather permitting.

2. Interstate 475: Bridge Widening

Lucas County (251-13): Through June 2015, 11-foot lane width restrictions will be in place on I-475 at the Ohio Turnpike. Through June 2015, lane and shoulder restrictions are possible on the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/I-90) at the I-475 bridge. Through June 2015, Manley Road at I-475 is closed. Detour: Garden Road; Holloway Road; Salisbury Road. Project complete: June 2015. All work is weather permitting.

3. Interstate 475: Resurfacing

Lucas and Wood Counties (32-14): Through October, overnight from 7pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475 from SR 25 to US 20A for resurfacing. Ramp restrictions and closures on the I-475/US 24 ramps will be announced. Weekend interstate lane restrictions will be announced. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.

4. Interstate 280: Resurfacing and Bridge Repair
Wood County (174-13):
Through November, both directions of I-280, between Ayers Road and Woodville Road, are reduced to one lane with an 11 foot lane width for bridge work. Additionally, through June, the ramp from Walbridge Road to northbound I-280 will be closed. Detour: southbound I-280; eastbound SR 795. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.

5. State Route 2: Anthony Wayne Bridge Project *UPDATE*
Lucas County (58-13):
Through September 2015, the Anthony Wayne Bridge is closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Detour: Oak Street; Fassett Street; Miami Street; I-75; Anthony Wayne Trail (Exit 201B); Monroe Street; Summit Street. Additionally, effective Monday, April 28, through Friday, May 2, weekdays from 7am until 5:30pm, Yondota Street between Nevada Street and Greenwood Street will be closed for overhead bridge deck removal. Detour: Nevada Street; Miami Street; Greenwood Street. Project complete: December 2015. All work is weather permitting.

6. State Route 65: Bridge Painting
Lucas County (395-13):
Through September, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on the Craig Bridge (SR 65), between Front Street and Summit Street for bridge painting. Project complete: October. All work is weather permitting.

7. U.S. Route 20: Turn Lane Addition *UPDATE*
Wood County (173-13):
Through May, intermittent lane and shoulder restrictions are possible at the intersection of US 20 and Lime City Road for turn lane addition. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: May. All work is weather permitting.

8. U.S. Route 23: Resurfacing

Wood County (598-13): On Monday, May 5, through August, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on US 23 between SR 105 and US 6 for resurfacing. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: August. All work is weather permitting.

9. State Route 25: Resurfacing Project *UPDATE*

Wood County (520-13): Through June, SR 25, from Front Street to South Boundary Street in Perrysburg will be reduced to one lane for resurfacing and drainage work. Local access will be maintained. Additionally, at this time overnight 7pm until 6am Wednesday, April 30, through Thursday, May 1, and Monday, May 5, through Tuesday, May 6, Front Street between SR 25 and South Boundary will be closed for paving operations. Detour: SR25; Indiana Ave.; Louisiana Ave. Project complete: June. All work is weather permitting.

10. State Route 64: Intersection Upgrade
Wood County:
Through May, Haskins Road (SR 64) at Poe Road will be closed for intersection upgrade. Detour: Wooster Street; SR 25; Newton Road. For more information contact the City of Bowling Green at 419-354-6235. All work is weather permitting.

11. Interstate 75: Survey Work

Wood County: Effective Saturday, April 26, from 9am until 2pm, northbound I-75, between SR 18 and Cygnet Road will be reduced to one lane for survey work. Traffic delays are possible. All ramps will remain open. All work is weather permitting.

12. State Route 582: Culvert Replacement *WORK COMPLETE*

Wood County: SR 582 between SR 64 and Asmus Road for culvert replacement is now open.

Route 582: Resurfacing Project
Wood County (591-13):
Effective Monday, April 28, through August, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 582, between SR 25 and SR 65 for resurfacing. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

Project complete: August. All work weather permitting.

14. State Route 582: Ditch Cleaning

Wood County: Effective Tuesday, April 22 through Friday, April, 25, daily, from 8am until 3pm, SR 582, between SR 64 and Asmus road will be closed for ditch cleaning. Detour: SR 64; SR 65. All work is weather permitting.

15. Various Routes: Sign Replacement *UPDATE*
Lucas County (596-12):
Through May, intermittent lane, shoulder, and ramp restrictions are possible along the interstate, federal, and state routes in Lucas County for sign replacement. Project complete: May. All work is weather permitting.

16. Wales Road: Railroad Grade Separation

Wood County (614-11): Through June, Drouillard Road, between Rochester Road and Walnut Hills will be closed for pavement tie in work. Local access will be maintained. Detour: Wales Road; East Broadway Street; Oakdale Avenue; Woodville Road or Wales Road; Woodville Road. Project complete: June. All work is weather permitting.

Ottawa/Sandusky/Seneca Counties


17. State Route 2: Mine Remediation

Ottawa County (27-13): Through May, SR 2 between SR 163 and SR 53 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for mine remediation. Through May, the ramp from southbound SR 53 to westbound SR 2 is closed. Detour: SR 53; SR 163; SR 2. Project complete: May 2016. All work is weather permitting.

18. State Route 163: Culvert Replacement *PROJECT COMPLETE*
Ottawa County (573-13):
SR 163, Cottage Cove Drive and Lakeland Drive is now open. Major work on the project is complete.

19. State Route 12: Bridge Replacement

Seneca County (584-13): Effective Monday, May 5, through July, SR 12, between SR 635 and SR 590 will be closed for bridge replacement. Detour: SR 635; US 6; SR 590. Project complete: July. All work weather permitting.

20. State Route 18: Sewer Work

Seneca County: Through April, SR 18 between SR 101 and S. Harley Street is closed. Detour: CR 13; SR 101. For more information please contact the City of Tiffin (419) 448-5401. All work is weather permitting.

21. State Route 635: Railroad Repair

Seneca County: Through Friday, April 25, SR 635 between SR 18 and Township Road 132 will be closed for railroad repair. Detour: SR18; SR 12. All work weather permitting.

Williams/Fulton/Henry Counties

22. State Route 576: Bridge Replacement
Williams County (60-14):
Through June, SR 576, between School Street and Seneca Drive will be closed for bridge replacement. Detour: US 20, SR 15, E. Territorial Road; Hillsdale Road. Project complete: October. All work weather permitting.

23. State Route 66: Resurfacing

Fulton County: Through May, SR 66, from Stryker Street (SR 2) to Lugbill Road will be closed for resurfacing. Detour: Lugbill Road; Myers Road; West Barre Road; Clyde's Way; East Lutz Road. For more information, contact the Village of Archbold at 419-445-4726. All work is weather permitting.

24. U.S. Route 6/24: Pavement Rehabilitation *UPDATE*
Henry County (264-13):
Through May, intermittent single lane restrictions are possible on US 6/24 from east TR P3 to west TR P3 (Napoleon bypass) and on US 24 from CR 8 to US 6 for finish work. Project complete: May. All work is weather permitting.

25. State Route 18: Resurfacing Project
Henry County (591-13):
Through August, intermittent lane restrictions are possible on SR 18, between SR 65 and the Henry/Wood County line for resurfacing and bridge work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Project complete: August. All work is weather permitting.

26. County Road 424: Stone Arch Replacement
Henry County (607-12)
Through May, lane restrictions are possible on East Riverview Avenue (CR 424) between Commerce Drive and Fillmore Street (Oberhaus Creek) in Napoleon for culvert work. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. Through May, intermittent lane and shoulder restrictions are possible on CR 424 between CR 4 and CR 15 for replacement of historic stone arches. Project complete: July. All work is weather permitting.

District Wide

27. Various Routes: Intelligent Traffic System (ITS)

Lucas County (86-12): Through June, intermittent shoulder restrictions are possible on various routes in the Toledo Metro area for the installation of devices associated with the ITS project. Project complete June. All work is weather permitting.

28. Various Routes: Guardrail & Electrical Maintenance

District Wide (1025-13, and 1022-13): Through December, intermittent lane restrictions are possible district wide for guardrail and electrical maintenance. All work is weather permitting.
