The Friends of the North Baltimore Public Library recently conducted their Spring Book Sale in the Wolfe Community Room of the library.
Profits from the sale totaled $375.80 which will be used to help fund projects for the library in the coming months. This event would not be a success at all if we did not have books to sell. The majority of the items in the sale came from items the community donated. We would like to remind all residents that you can bring books to the library to donate at any time. We ask that all items be clean, in good condition, and have no water damage. We are not able to accept encyclopedias, National Geographic magazines, Reader’s Digest Condensed books, and old textbooks.
The Friends would also like to thank Holly Emahiser, Connie Beach, Tonya Emahiser, Betty Stemen, Rick and Pam Van Mooy, Diane McCardle, Margaret Bobb, Martha Hamlin, Rita Ziegler, Ruth Derrick, Jan Dukes, Jim Miller, Annie Bingley, Audrey Senghas, Esther Nagel, Rita Zeigler, Megan Rush, Ralph Wolfe, Ginger Povemire, Sharon Casey, Lori Kaufman, Anne Brown and Doreen Christensen for all their help before, during and after the sale.
We hope to see many of you at our Fall Book Sale in October!
