Letter to the Editor: Sewer Increase

Sewer Increase

Don Hendren is right, I believe it was stated that the sewer increase back a year ago or more was to be the only increase, so why more now? I again call for council to look into Northwest Water & Sewer District, yes I hate the thought of giving up what we have and what has been accomplished, however enough is enough!!

Maybe we as residents of North Baltimore need to get a referendum up or a petition to force a look into the Northwest District, we have been land locked

by council who could have run water to the railroad west of town, but they set on their hand and did nothing, here came the Northwest District, then Cygnet needed water, not NB’S now Bloomdale will be getting the District’s water also, we have two large reservoirs’ and nobody to sell water too, way to go council!! It is time to get a new administrator, one who will sell NB’s water, instead of hob knobbing with the big wigs up North, or the do nothing crowd in Columbus and DC!!

I think some people need to get their facts straight. I think is was Don Hendren was mayor and the council members years ago that signed the deal with the OHEPA but done nothing to prepare the village for the future. It is easy to set back and be an arm Chair quarter back. If People are so concerned about the villages future maybe they should run for Council!!! The fact is that there is nothing that we as residents can do now but bite the bullet and move on. As far as NorthWest water goes they would of had to do the same thing and, no it would not of been spread out through out their whole district. The residents of NB would still be paying for all the up grades. Sorry if I offend any one but I just had to speak the truth and get that off of my chest.
