Report from the Chamber Secretary
The North Baltimore Area Chamber of Commerce (NBACC) recently held their Annual Dinner Meeting. New officers and trustees were elected into office also. The dinner meeting was held at the North Baltimore American Legion on April 30th.
Dinner was catered by the Nazareth Hall of Grand Rapids, with appetizers provided by China City Buffet, North Baltimore.
JP Miklovic (The NBXpress.com) is new President for 2014-16 term, with Bill Cameron (John Newlove Real Estate) serving as Vice President for 2014-16. New Trustees for the 2014-16 term are Dennis Miller (Don Miller Ins Agency), Anna Miller (Quarry Farm Gourds), Tracy Oberst (Bridge Home Health & Hospice). Outgoing President, Jaimye Bushey (Huntington Bank) will serve as past-president trustee for 2 years. Continuing officers are Skip Baltz (Henry Twp Zoning Inspector), Treasurer, and Brenda Stimmel (Don Miller Ins. Agency), Secretary. Continuing trustees are Roxie Emahiser (The Depot Business Mall) and Jim Wymer (Henry Twp Trustee)
Ohio Representative Tim Brown, (R), District 3, was the program for the evening, speaking on Ohio issues.
Beverages were graciously donated by George and Leslee Thompson, Great Scot, and Northwestern Water & Sewer District and dessert by Briar Hill Health Campus. There was also an iced coffee bar, courtesy of McDonalds, North Baltimore. THANK YOU! Also thank you to Marlene North for providing Chinese themed items for display,
which coincided with the theme of the evening Chinese New Year: “Year of the Horse”.
The grand prize was a hotel/water park package to the Holiday Inn-Splash Bay Resort in Maumee. Thank you to First Federal Bank, in conjunction with the Chamber, for this wonderful prize package.
