CNG Fuel, Inc. to Build Findlay’s First Compressed Natural Gas Fueling Facility
Posting Date: 05/22/2014

Findlay, OH (May 13, 2014) --- CNG Fuel, Inc., in partnership with the Ohio Logistics Business Park, proudly brings a clean, GREEN fueling alternative to Hancock County through the development of Ohio’s newest compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station in Findlay, OH.

The new Findlay facility, scheduled to open August 1, 2014, will be located at 5343 Distribution Drive in the Ohio Logistics Business Park. Located just east of I-75 near Exit 161, the self service facility will feature four covered fast-fill bays and easy-on/easy-off access to I-75 on a 24/7 basis. The facility, located at the logistics/distribution hub for Kohl’s, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Cooper Tire, Hercules, Home Depot, Ball Metal, Whirlpool, Ohio Logistics, will serve many transportation suppliers desiring a GREEN fuel alternative.

“The addition of CNG Fuel to our Business Park is extremely exciting,” said Chuck

Bills, Ohio Logistics. “The location and resources provide the opportunity to run an effective business, it is a win-win situation.”

Natural Gas powers more than 120,000 vehicles in the United States and roughly 13 million vehicles worldwide. The advantages of natural gas as an alternative fuel include its domestic availability, widespread distribution infrastructure, low cost compared with gasoline and diesel, and clean-burning qualities. It’s estimated that there will be more than 50 million natural gas vehicles worldwide within the next 10 years, representing approximately 9 percent of the world transportation fleets.

“CNG Fuel is a great addition to the community. We are excited to be a part of an emerging need in transportation,” said Findlay•Hancock County Economic Development Director Anthony Iriti.
