The North Baltimore Rotary Club met June 10th at the Petro Iron Skillet.
Gary Davis from MESA gave a report in Rotary in the World. He reported that a shipment to Nigeria was just clearing through customs. Jim Miller reported that Nantapan Wiowitkul’s (Siengpin) mother arrived safely back to Thailand. Kyle Clark reported that he still has not received responses from the survey all rotary members. He would appreciate it if members would take the time to respond as soon as possible so that he can report to the club. Next week’s program is by Rick Van Mooy.
We will hear about the MESA bike tour that is coming up. The June 24th meeting will be held at Hancock Wood with George Walton in charge of the program. Jim Miller reported that July 1st would be the installation of new officers. Upcoming programs are Lisa Ziegler, July 8th, Steve Arnold, July 15th, Larry Ball, July 22 and Tony Borden, July 29th.
An impromptu program was suggested by Gregg Glamm. Everyone went around and told about themselves. They talked about where they were born, where they went to school, what jobs they held and about their lives now. We all learned a lot about the members. It was very informative and enjoyable too. Thanks Gregg for the suggestion.
