BOWLING GREEN (Monday, June 16, 2014) The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the start of the Interstate 75 widening project in Wood County.
The project, designed to increase capacity on Northwest Ohio’s busiest interstate route, will add a third lane to nearly 32 miles of the interstate corridor in Wood and Hancock County from Perrysburg to Findlay.
ODOT has awarded four projects along I-75, totaling $261 Million, to Miller Bros. Inc., Shelly Company, Kokosing Construction Company and E.S. Wagner. Construction of the third lane will continue over the next three years.
Starting tonight through the next several weeks, crews will begin prep work on the project that includes pavement repairs prior to the start of construction.
Interstate 75: Widening
Wood County (170-14): Effective tonight, through Friday, June 20, overnight, 8pm to 5am, lane restrictions are possible on I-75, from US 6 to SR 25 for pavement repair. Additional restrictions will be announced. All work is weather permitting.
