Ten North Baltimore students and two adults recently visited London, Paris, and Rome through an EF (Education First) Tour. Class of 2014 graduates Tyler Reed, Robert Lyberg, Hailey Miller, Paige Bowen, Kate Shupe, and Emily Law and soon-to-be seniors Rachel Peters, Morgan Baltz, AJ Hotaling, and Makayla Rein, and adults Ben Pack and Janet Goldner enjoyed a direct flight from Detroit to London's Heathrow Airport.

While in London, students had the chance to see iconic places such as Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Piccadilly Circus, and Windsor Castle.
After taking a train under the English Channel to France, the group had three days to tour Paris. During this time, students experienced Notre Dame Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower, a boat ride on the Seine River, and the Louvre. Students also had several hours of free time to explore the city.

The itinerary included a "Rome By Night" Tour. The Vatican is absolutely beautiful at night!
After a stressful night train ride to Italy (including an unexpected 90 minute stop while Swiss Police inspected every compartment with a dog), the group made it to its final destination-Rome. The group toured the Colosseum, Forum, Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Students also had a few hours of free time to explore Rome.
We are from O-H-I-O
Throughout the trip, the North Baltimore group was combined with groups from Wisconsin, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Texas.
Left- People dress up like Roman soldiers outside the Colosseum
Right- The Swiss Guard patrol the Vatican.
After a ten-hour flight from Rome to Detroit, the group was home after a wonderful nine-day tour.
REAL Pizza--In Rome, all of the groups ate very well! Each person received a personal pizza.
World's most famous painting?? Maybe
While in Paris, we visited the Louvre. We had the chance to see, the Mona Lisa.
From the Group Leader, Ben Pack: I would like to thank all those who traveled with me on the tour. You all represented North Baltimore flawlessly. You proved time after time to be flexible, well-adjusted, and mature. You did not complain and all had a good sense of humor throughout. Thank you for making this a positive experience for the entire group.
