On November 20, the North Baltimore Lion’s Club hosted Mr. Dan Hicks, Executive Director of City Mission in Findlay. Mr. Hicks spoke about the work of City Mission in working with the homeless, the unemployed, and those needing assistance passing through the Findlay area. The Club gave Mr. Hicks a donation toward his work with City Mission.

The Club also gave a donation to Cody Switzer, who recently won a national competition to be part of the All Star Band that will be participating in Miami in January during the National Collegiate Championship Football game. The donation was given to help defray his travel expenses.

Lion Bob Smith was recognized as a thirty-five year member of our Local Lions Club.

In other business it was decided that our annual Christmas Dinner will be held December 11 at St. James UMC at 6:30 PM. The meal will be catered by The Whistle Stop.
