The North Baltimore Lady Tiger Basketball team travelled to Lima to face Perry High School Wednesday evening.
NB had a big 1st quarter, scoring 21, taking a 3 point lead (21 - 18). In the second quarter both teams picked up the "D" and Perry cut into the NB lead, with 30 - 28 at the half.
In the 3rd NB came out and took it to Perry, extending their lead to 47 - 39 and finished them off down the stretch for the 59 - 49 win.
Leading the ladies was freshman Olivia Frost with 18 points, followed by Morgan Schloemp with 12. Ricci Emahiser knocked down 9 points, Megan Wright 7, Lacey Trumbull 5, Courtney Bretz 4, with Lindsay Davis and Raegen Fleckner adding 2 each.
NB was out rebounded by Perry 44 - 32, as NB was led by Schloemp and Frost with 6. The Tigers committed 24 turnovers, but forced Perry into 25 miscues. Wright led the Tigers in steals (5) and assists (6), as the ladies are now 2 - 2 on the season.
