Village Council discussed their concerns and citizen concerns with the appearance of vehicles being parked on the old North Baltimore High School, by the Reineke dealership (former Dukes Sales).
Leslee Thompson told council of concerns raised and possible zoning infractions. She was asking that council approve giving Reineke 14 days to submit the zoning application and plan for the the use of the south half of the old NB high school on West Water, at 2nd and Frazier
Streets. She said she had nothing against Reineke, but they need to follow the zoning code.
Aaron Patterson asked if a "blue print" had been submitted for the proposed land purchase (which is contingent on a change from S - 1 to a business classification). Mayor Mike Julien responded that the school (as the owner of the land), needs to submit a lighting and drainage plan to the Planning Commission to initiate the process for the zoning change.
