Tiger Basketball FRESHMAN Boys play at home Tonight

The NBHS Freshman basketball team will have another home MAL contest this Friday (TODAY) vs. Lakota, starting at 5pm.

Last Thursday, January 10th, the Tiger Freshman Basketball team traveled to New Reigel and lost to the Blue Jackets in a MAL contest.

Chad Wright had 14 pts, followed by 3pts from Sean Watson and 2 pts from Brody Naugle.


The Tigers bounced back the very next night with a nice MAL win vs Fremont St.Joe: 26-22.

Chad Wright scored 18 pts and Sean Watson had 8pts for the Tigers.

On Friday, January 4th, the freshmen boys knocked off MAL foe Seneca East 44-26.

Chad Wright led the scoring with 21 points, with Sean Watson adding 9 points, Tyler Stimmel chipping in 4pts, Brody Naugle adding 3 pts, Zach Meggitt -3pts, Jagger Murlin adding 4 pts.

Hank Matthes, Danny Crouse, Cody Gerdeman, Alex Nichols, Nick Eninger all chipped in with some fine defensive work to get the Tigers the victory.(Derek Archer is on the disabled list with a broken collarbone.)

Come out to the Jungle and cheer for our Freshman guys tonight!
