The regular meeting of the North Baltimore Local Board of Education was held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 6:00pm in the MS/HS Complex.
After opening ceremonies and a brief report from Treasurer, Eve Baldwin, the administrators gave reports which can be read elsewhere in this publication.
One of the highlights of the meeting was a regular agenda item which confirmed the letter of intent to purchase half the former NB HS/MS Main Building site on S. Second St. submitted by Reineke Motors. The vote to move forward with the sale was 3-1 with Board member, Jaimye Bushey voting no. Board member, Cheryl Cotterman was absent.

Approved a supplemental contract to Arica Matthews as a Homebound Tutor at $20 per hour on an as needed basis for the 2014-15 school year.

Approved a Classified contract to Pam Cheney as a 2 hour cook for the 2014-15 school year at the appropriate step on the salary schedule.

Approved participation in the Ohio Coalition for Equity and Adequacy for the 2014-15 school year at a cost of $351.
Approved the following adult organized groups that function for the purpose of giving support to the official programs in the schools for the 2014-15 school year:

North Baltimore Sports Boosters
North Baltimore Band & Choir Boosters
Approved a resolution authorizing the execution of a real estate purchase and sale agreement in the amount of $50,000 between the Board of Education of the North Baltimore Local School District and Reineke Motors, Inc. for a portion of the former MS/HS property located on S. Second St. Vote was 3-1 with Board member Jaimye Bushey voting no. Board member Cheryl Cotterman was absent from the meeting.
