Project Connect Wood County is a one-day, one-stop event designed to provide hospitality and access to services for all people in our community in need of support services. Over two dozen providers will be present, including hot meals, haircuts, housing and so many more!! Project Connect Wood County will be held on Wednesday, October 15 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Bowling Green.
Over 250 volunteers will be needed to ensure another successful Wood County Project Connect. Volunteers will serve primarily as hosts to escort guests through the event. Volunteers will also be needed to serve as Couriers and Food Service workers. Please be flexible. If necessary, some volunteers may be asked to take another position.
Volunteers may work 3 hours or all day. Food Service shifts begin at 7:00 am.
Host and Courier shifts are from 8:30 am – 12 noon and 11:30 am – 3:30 pm. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
Pre-event orientation, where volunteers will receive their t-shirt to wear at the event, tour the facilities and gain an understanding of goals of PCWC, is required for all volunteers.
Orientation date/time options will pop up after volunteers sign up for a position.

Paper applications, available after September 8, will be located at many Wood County churches, Wood County public libraries and at the Bowling Green Community Center, 1245 W. Newton Road.
