Emergency Dispatcher: The Village of North Baltimore (population 3600), Wood County, Ohio, is seeking applications from qualified persons for the position of Emergency Dispatcher in the Police Department.
Qualifications require completion of secondary education and the ability to operate telephone, radio and communication equipment. Must be able to receive and record incoming complaints or requests for assistance; receive and transmit radio communications; obtain pertinent information and promptly dispatch personnel to complaints, emergencies, or disturbances; receive non-emergency calls and provide information of a general nature or transfers to desired party.
Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and able to work any shift. Must also undergo a criminal background check and be able to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
The pay is $7.95 per hr. part-time.
