North Baltimore High School has another student - athlete moving on in OHSAA (D-III) post-season action.
NB's Tyler Stimmel (Jr.) placed 15th (the top 16 advance), at the District Cross Country Meet held in Ottawa. He finished with a time of 17.48 minutes.
Tyler will move on to the Regional Meet in Tiffin next Saturday (Oct. 25), around 11:00 AM.
Stimmel is the fist Tiger to advance to the regional meet since Jeffrey Senecal in 2008.

There were 94 runners, including these NB Tigers (9th out of 13 - 254 points) : Noah Pelton (44th), A. J. Hotaling (52nd), Aaron Fisher (68th), Brice Engard (75th) and Kyle Gerdeman (80th). There were 94 runners in the boy's meet. Teams advancing to regional action are the top 4: 1. Lincolnview, 2. Convoy Crestview, 3. New Breman and 4. Lima C. C.
In the Girl's District the Lady Tigers finished 10th of 10 with 266 points. Places for NB were: Mariah Leonard (50), Megan Ernsberger (52), Marina Kimmel (53), Leslie Busch (54), Taylor Grilliot (57) and Raegan Fleckner (60). There were 74 runners in the girl's race. Teams advancing to regional action are the top 4: Coldwater, St. Henry, Columnbus Grove and Bluffton.
